Family Panel

The Panel is comprised of experienced mediators who have satisfied the accreditation requirements of the Family Mediation Council.

Accredited Family mediators are trained to deal with cases of family breakdown and divorce.

At the present time we have no Family Mediators on our panel, though we do still get regular enquiries.

 

Initial membership

To apply you will need to send in evidence of your FMCA status for the current year and details of the Professional Practice Consultant who provides your supervision.

Admission to the Panel is at the discretion of the Association.

Renewals

Each year you will need to be re-approved by the Family Mediation Council. In order to achieve this you will need to satisfy the FMC that

 

• you have achieved the annual CPD requirements for family mediation

• you have had the required number of hours of supervision

• you have had adequate recent practice
